On Sunday, March 16, former West Covina High School standout Lauren Romero’s current college team, the Colorado Mines Orediggers, won 3-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Colorado Christian Cougars.

The game took place at Joe Coors, Jr. Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Cougars this season.

The Orediggers’ next game is scheduled for Monday, March 17 at 10:55 a.m. at Joe Coors, Jr. Softball Field against Colorado Christian Cougars.
