On Saturday, March 1, former West Covina High School standout Lauren Romero’s current college team, the Colorado Mines Orediggers, lost 7-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Colorado Mesa Mavericks.

The game took place at CMU Softball Field. This was their first matchup against the Mavericks this season.

The Orediggers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 2 p.m. at CMU Softball Field against Colorado Mesa Mavericks.
