On Monday, Feb. 17, former West Covina High School standout Lauren Romero’s current college team, the Colorado Mines Orediggers, lost 14-13 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the UCCS Mountain Lions.

The game took place at Mountain Lion Field. This was their third matchup against the Mountain Lions this season.

The Orediggers’ next game is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 17 at 1 p.m. at Mountain Lion Field against UCCS Mountain Lions.
