On Saturday, March 1, former Covina High School standout Tyler Lokar’s current college team, the La Verne Leopards, won 17-15 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Whittier Poets.

The game took place at Ben Hines Field. This was their third matchup against the Poets this season.

The Leopards’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 2 p.m. at Ben Hines Field against UW La Crosse Eagles.
