City of Alhambra recently issued the following announcement.
Event Name: City Offices Closed on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day 2021
Date: Thursday, December 31, 2020 and Friday, January 1, 2021

City offices will be closed Thursday, December 31, 2020 and Friday, January 1, 2021 for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Normal business hours will resume on Monday, January 4, at 7:00 am.
Holiday Trash Pick-Up Schedule in Effect
Customers whose regular service day is on Thursday will experience no delay in service.
There will be no waste and recycling service on Friday, January 1, in observance of New Year's Day. If your regular service day is Friday, service will run one day late. Please put your trash, recycle and yard waste bins out at the curb one day later than usual.

Holiday Tree Recycling
Don't forget to recycle your holiday tree. Cut, real holiday trees and wreaths will be accepted at the curb by Republic Services for three weeks beginning Monday, December 28 (artificial trees and wreaths will not be accepted). Be sure to take off all of the lights, ornaments, tinsel, and garland, and remove the metal or plastic stand. Set the bare tree at the curb. If your tree is taller than 6 feet, please cut it in half for safe and easy collection.) Thank you for your cooperation.
Holiday Overnight Parking Enforcement Relaxation
In the spirit of the holidays, the Alhambra Police Department has placed a moratorium on overnight parking enforcement. The moratorium is effect from December 23, 2020 at 2am through Sunday, January 3, 2021. Overnight parking enforcement will resume on Monday, January 4, 2021 at 2:00 am.
Holiday Daytime Parking Relaxation
All daytime parking enforcement (including street sweeping and City Lot enforcement) will be suspended on December 31, 2020 through January 2, 2021. Daytime parking enforcement will resume on Monday, January 4, 2021 at 7:00 am.
