Former Bishop Amat Memorial High School athlete Mya Williams and her current team, the Smith Pioneers, were defeated 74-70 by the Bates Bobcats in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament on Saturday, March 7.
The matchup, which tipped off at 7:15 p.m. in Alumni Gymnasium, marked the Pioneers’ first tournament game against the Bobcats.
