On Saturday, March 8, former West Covina High School standout Lauren Romero’s current college team, the Colorado Mines Orediggers, lost 8-5 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Metro State Roadrunners.

The game took place at Assembly Athletic Complex. This was their first matchup against the Roadrunners this season.

The Orediggers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 2 p.m. at Assembly Athletic Complex against Metro State Roadrunners.
