On Saturday, March 8, former Bishop Amat Memorial High School standout Desiree Rivera’s current college team, the Iowa Hawkeyes, lost 5-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Alabama Crimson Tide.

The game took place at John and Ann Rhoads Softball Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Crimson Tide this season.

The Hawkeyes’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 4 p.m. at Goodman Softball Complex against Wisconsin Badgers.
