On Saturday, March 22, former Bishop Amat High School standout Jake Vargas’ current college team, the Azusa Pacific Cougars, lost 9-6 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Biola Eagles.

The game took place at Cougar Baseball Complex. This was their fourth matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 2 p.m. at Golden Eagles Field against Concordia Irvine Golden Eagles.
