On Saturday, March 1, former Bishop Amat Memorial High School standout Sophia Pinedo’s current college team, the San Diego Toreros, lost 6-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Oregon Ducks.

The game took place at Jane Sanders Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Ducks this season.

The Toreros’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 6:30 p.m. at GCU Softball Stadium against Grand Canyon Antelopes.
