On Sunday, Feb. 23, former South Hills High School standout Paul Vazquez’s current college team, the Oregon State Beavers, lost 10-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

The game took place at Dell Diamond. This was their first matchup against the Golden Gophers this season.

The Beavers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. at Globe Life Field against Baylor Bears.
