On Friday, March 7, former Bishop Amat High School standout Jake Vargas’ current college team, the Azusa Pacific Cougars, won 2-0 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Hawaii–Hilo Vulcans.

The game took place at Francis Wong Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Vulcans this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 6 p.m. at Francis Wong Stadium against Hawaii–Hilo Vulcans.
