On Tuesday, March 25, former Covina High School standout Maya Venegas’ current college team, the Cal Poly Mustangs, lost 5-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Washington Huskies.

The game took place at Husky Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Huskies this season.

The Mustangs’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 12 p.m. at Campus Diamond against UC Santa Barbara Gauchos.
