On Saturday, April 5, former West Covina High School standout Lauren Romero’s current college team, the Colorado Mines Orediggers, won 9-5 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Chadron State Eagles.

The game took place at Joe Coors, Jr. Softball Field. This was their first matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Orediggers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 2 p.m. at Joe Coors, Jr. Softball Field against Chadron State Eagles.
