On Sunday, March 9, former South Hills High School standout Joie Economides’ current college team, the Stanford Cardinals, won 9-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Syracuse Orange.

The game took place at Stanford Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Orange this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 6 p.m. at Tech Softball Park against Virginia Tech Hokies.
