Tuition rates for California residents attending Mt San Antonio College did not change for the 2022-23 school year, as revealed by the latest figures, according to the latest disclosure from the National Center for Education Statistics.

Residents of California paid $1,352 to enroll at the two-year public college for both the 2021-22 and 2022-23 academic years.

Non-resident tuition for the 2022-23 year was $10,096, representing a 646.7% increase over in-state rates. This amount rose slightly by 0.6% from $10,032 in the previous academic year.

Approximately 98% of the undergraduate student body at Mt San Antonio College are California residents, while international students make up about 1%.

Among full-time undergraduates who began their studies in 2022-23, 75% received some form of financial aid. A total of 1,882 students were awarded grants or scholarships amounting to $12.6 million, and 15 students obtained student loans exceeding $99,940.

Across the entire undergraduate population, 15,660 students benefited from grants or scholarships totaling $76.2 million. Additionally, 222 students borrowed $1.5 million in federal student loans.

Meanwhile, student loan debt has steadily increased over the last 30 years, reaching $1.75 trillion in 2024, averaging a total of $28,950 per borrower. Federal loans make up 92% of the debt, with over half of students at both public and private four-year colleges graduating with student loans.
