On Tuesday, April 8, former Bishop Amat Memorial High School standout Desiree Rivera’s current college team, the Iowa Hawkeyes, lost 2-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Illinois State Redbirds.
The game took place at Bob Pearl Field. This was their first matchup against the Redbirds this season.
It was the last Iowa Hawkeyes’ game this season
